Boardoo Moves into it's own Datacenter

Today we completed a move into the RMC datacenter; our very own, developed and managed by the same team who created and run Boardoo each and every day. This exciting move will allow for the long-term planning, development, and eventual launch of many exciting and unique features which will come to Boardoo over the next several months.

Our new servers are all fully redundant featuring high-speed 10k RPM SCSI drives in RAID 5 configurations. We are now a windows-based environment with both Boardoo servers running Windows Server 2008. In a few days we will complete the migration of our hosted forums from MySQL to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 which for that application provides a more robust environment. During this migration there will be small periods of downtime over the next few days as each forum is individually moved.
