Boardoo.net Free Web Hosting Changes

Happy New  Year!  With 2008 now officially behind us, we are looking forward to 2009 with anticipation of some exciting and beneficial changes here at Boardoo.  The news, however is not all good.  The global economic downturn has affected us more than we projected and as a result our year-end revenue in certain areas is down much more than we originally anticipated.  To make up for the drop in revenue we are forced to make some changes that we wish that we did not have to.  It is with great regret that we must announce that effective immediately we will be placing advertisements on all websites hosted by Boardoo.net FREE Web Hosting accounts.

This change means that a very small number of websites may no-longer display correctly at the moment.  A simple solution is to take a look at your content-type and content-encoding methods.  If you are still in doubt, please take a moment and open a support ticket.  Our staff will be delighted to assist you in any way possible.

Members who have upgraded to any of our paid hosting plans are not affected by this change.
