phpBB Modifications

The one thing that can add both excitement and usability at the same time are 3rd party enhancements, also known as MOD's. We have taken a close look at all of the officially available modifications and have installed those which we think will enhance the forum experience.

We are always willing to accept suggestions for new MODs to install provided they meet certain guidelines. We will only install MOD's that are officially released and supported on the main phpBB website. We will only install MOD's that are release candidate (RC) status or higher. Finally, we will only install MODs which will not negatively impact the performance of our servers. Visit the support area to suggest a MOD.

ACP Add User MOD

Adds a new Module that enables an Administrator to create a new user account through the Administration Control Panel Adds an extra permission to allow administrator to create a new user account. Gives the administrator the ability to instantly approve a new member after creation. Modification version: 1.0.0

ACP Manage attachments

This mod adds attachments management module to the ACP.

ACP Notepad

A notepad module for the ACP where you can save new messages and read, edit or delete old ones. BBCode is supported, along with custom tags. You can also set any note written by you as 'private,' so that only you may read it. Private notes are protected from other administrators.

UTF8 supported.
Make notes private, so only you can read them.
Direct linking to admin notes based on message IDs with GET query, eg. "read_id=2"

Board3 Portal

Adds a portal with several blocks, which can be switched on and off via the ACP, to the front page of your phpBB3 forum. This portal is a further development / fork of the phpbb3Portal. Makes a great landing page for your members!
Can be completely disabled by forum admin.
