With a Boardoo free forum, you are the administrator; you choose how many forums you create, who you want to be moderators and assistant administrators, how your board will look, and who is allowed to register. Sure! While we've already done the difficult part of the actual installation of your forum, you are normally left to configure your forum to your taste. If you don't have the time, or are not comfortable doing that ony our own, we do offer a full configuration service for a small fee of $10. Our forum configuration service will configure your board with a style of your choosing plus the installation of up to 2 additional styles, configuration of up to 6 usergroups, creation of up to 10 forum categories and 25 forums. Possibly. The exact answer depends on what the purpose of each forum is. You may register for a second forum providing it meets certain criteria. First, your new forum must be on a topic unrelated to any other forums you host with us. Second, all of your existing forums hosted with Boardoo must be actively visited and not suspended for any reason. Finally, you may not create additional forums for the purpose of circumventing our system-imposed limits, such as file attachment space.

No. At this time do not offer database backups (SQL dumps) of individual forums. Our testing has found that enabling such a feature creates strain on the servers that would adversely affect other users. That does not mean that your forums data isn't protected; we do generate nightly backups of every forum, but in such a way that it is difficult to seperate. However, we do realize that at some point you may outgrow our service and wish to transfer your forum. We will be glad to create a database backup of your forum for you for a charge of $30 which covers the time required by our staff to create and verify your backup.
