Free Forum Pre-Installed phpBB Modifications (MODs)

The one thing that can add both excitement and usability at the same time are 3rd party enhancements, also known as MOD's. We have taken a close look at all of the officially available modifications and have installed those which we think will enhance the forum experience.

We have frozen our set of pre-installed MODs until the official release of phpBB version 3.

Looking for a specific MOD? We are always willing to accept suggestions for new MODs provided that they follow certain guidelines. We will only install MOD's that are officially released and supported by the phpBB group. We will only install MOD's that are considered release candidates (RC) or official releases. Finally, we will only install MODs which will not negatively impact the system or cause problems for other users.

ACP Add User MOD

Enables an administrator to create a new user account through the Administration Control Panel This mod also adds an extra permission to allow administrator to create a new user account and it gives the ability to instantly approve the member after creation.

Sort by Topic Time

Adds the ability to sort topics by the first post time in UCP and in the main forum.

Welcome PM on First Login

This mod lets an administrator to configure a welcome private message (PM) that will be sent out to newly registered users on their first login. The administrator can specify a "from" user and customize the message to show certain user information.
